For a few months, instead of waiting tables at the Harvest Restaurant in Boulder, I painted this mural. It was my first experience undertaking such a large project in full public view. I was paid in food, which meant I could gorge myself on swiss granola and basque pie with chicken as long as I had a brush in hand. Like a Buddhist sand painting, this image disappeared soon after its making. It now exists only in cyberspace.
